The Trimmer How-To Guide

How To Use The Trimmer

You’ve got the tool, now learn the technique for perfect trimming results every time.

Step 1

Connect the two parts of The Trimmer with the blade side up and press the cutters back until you hear a click.

Step 2

Choose a guide comb for your preferred length and slide the comb onto the grooming head.

Step 3

The Trimmer is waterproof, so you can trim on wet or dry skin, but make sure to cleanse with soap and water first. It’s more hygienic to trim clean skin, plus the water will soften your body... hair and make grooming easier. For best results, use The Trimmer either in the shower or when your skin is completely dry.

Step 4

The Trimmer should be used flat side down and parallel to the skin. Pull your skin tight before trimming or shaving to avoid nicks and cuts.

Step 5

Trimming is a gentle hair-removal option that tackles thick, coarse body hair while avoiding ingrown hairs and razor burn you typically get from shaving. The Trimmer won't shave as closely as a razor shaves, but you can trim hair very short by removing the optional blade guard and angling The Trimmer with the blade parallel to your skin.

Step 6

A perfect blade is key to achieving your best, safest trim. You might notice that your results are less smooth as your ceramic blade gets duller. We recommend replacing your blade every 2 to 4 months depending on your level of usage.

Cleaning + Maintaining The Trimmer

Regular maintenance of your Trimmer keeps the blades clean and optimizes the life and function of your device.

  • Care for the snap-in blade by regularly cleaning hair scraps off with the cleaning brush.
  • Brush hair scraps out of the replaceable blade slots with the cleaning brush.
  • Press down the cutter frame handles in the direction of the arrows and brush off hair scraps in between the blade niches.
  • Wipe off The Trimmer’s exterior with a soft, damp cloth and let dry.
  • We recommend regular maintenance for optimal performance and function.

Charging The Trimmer

Charging The Trimmer is easy, and the device comes fully charged. Keep your shaver powered up for optimal performance.
